From paper to project

  1. Check that the product suits paper and the participants’ ages.

  2. Test two offcuts of the same material as your project.

  3. Apply a thin coat to the joining area rather than the whole piece.

  4. Align and press the join on a protective sheet.

  5. Allow the drying time stated on the packaging before handling.

  6. Lift the piece to inspect the join; if it fails, increase the contact area.

Check it with an example

An 8 mm tab offers more contact than a small dot. A flower needs glue at the centre only; coating the petals flattens the relief and adds moisture.

If it does not turn out as expected

Our templates do not require a hot glue gun. Do not use one with children without suitable supervision and procedures, or recommend it as a universal solution.
