From paper to project
Try the sock on the empty outer pot.
Mark its height and leave about 2 cm for a turned edge.
Cut the excess without touching the inner plant pot.
Fit the sleeve and turn the upper edge outward, clear of damp soil.
Insert the plant pot with its drainage holes unobstructed.
Remove the sleeve for washing and take out the inner pot when watering.
Check it with an example
For a 12 cm-high outer pot, try a 14 cm sleeve. It should cover without pulling tightly across the base.
If it does not turn out as expected
Remove and dry it if it becomes damp. Never glue fabric over drainage holes or use exposed pins.
Where this idea comes from
This project revisits a Dulzura de Papel topic with instructions and original graphics developed for this version. Macetas decoradas con medias? Si!.
