From paper to project

  1. Print in monochrome if you expect to use many copies.

  2. Cut the four blocks along their edges.

  3. Write a short subject that identifies the note.

  4. Add the date and a next action starting with a verb.

  5. Keep active notes together rather than scattered across different places.

  6. When an action is resolved, mark the note or remove it from the active group.

Check it with an example

Example: “Birthday / 2026-10-10 / confirm guest numbers.” “Birthday” alone does not identify the pending decision.

If it does not turn out as expected

If one note needs ten actions, turn it into a project checklist. Do not hide important commitments among undated scraps.
