From paper to project
Build the 45 mm cube using the box guide.
Draw windows and a door before closing its top.
Fold the 10 × 7 cm rectangle halfway along its 10 cm length to make two 5 cm roof slopes.
Centre the roof over the cube and glue a small support area only.
Let it dry on a flat surface.
Build a street of several houses, leaving room to move pieces without knocking them over.
Check it with an example
The roof is 7 cm wide and overhangs the 4.5 cm body. Its height depends on the angle, so test the fold before gluing.
If it does not turn out as expected
If the house leans, inspect the cube’s base and tabs. Do not add coins or other small ballast pieces to a toy for young children.
