From paper to project

  1. Sort large, medium and small pieces.

  2. Choose a simple image: house, tree or landscape.

  3. Arrange the pieces without glue, starting with the largest.

  4. Trim only when a shape does not fit.

  5. Glue from background to foreground with a small amount of adhesive.

  6. Write down the materials you reused and keep the remaining offcuts sorted by size.

Check it with an example

A house can use a square, triangle and two rectangles. Small pieces add details; there is no need to cut twenty new pieces before starting.

If it does not turn out as expected

Tiny offcuts are unsuitable for young children. Use less glue if the base buckles and dry it under a protective sheet.
