From paper to project
Measure around the head with a paper strip without tightening it.
Join the bands with a 3 cm overlap.
Position the flowers at the front and check they do not brush the eyes.
Glue each flower at its centre and let it dry flat.
Adjust the closure with tape, allowing a finger’s clearance.
Remove it if uncomfortable; do not wear it while sleeping or use it to secure clothing.
Check it with an example
Two 25 cm strips overlapping by 3 cm provide a maximum band length of 47 cm before closure. Add length for a larger size rather than stretching the paper.
If it does not turn out as expected
If it feels heavy or tilts, reduce the flower layers. Avoid staples, wire and detachable small pieces for young children.
