From paper to project
Fold the sheet lengthwise, then reopen it to mark the centre line.
Bring both top corners to the centre and align their edges.
Fold each sloping edge to the centre again to make a narrow nose.
Close the sheet on its centre fold with the folded layers inside.
Fold each side down to form wings, leaving a body about 2 cm deep.
Open both wings to matching angles and make three gentle throws from the same point.
Check it with an example
Record all three distances and use the median: 2.1, 3.0 and 2.4 m give a median of 2.4 m. Do not compare a hard throw with a gentle one.
If it does not turn out as expected
If it turns to one side repeatedly, check symmetry. For nose-diving, try small matching adjustments at the wing backs; change one thing at a time.
