From paper to project
Cut the card disc and draw 12 cm and 7 cm guide circles.
Roll each square into a cone and glue its overlap.
Place the sixteen large cones around the outer circle, points towards the centre.
Arrange the full ring before gluing the points to the card.
Add the eight smaller cones along the inner circle.
Cover the centre with a paper circle and dry flat.
Check it with an example
Sixteen cones give 22.5-degree intervals. Place four at quarter points, then add three between each pair for an even ring.
If it does not turn out as expected
Move the inner guide inward if it hides the entire outer ring. Choose a hanging fixing for the actual weight and keep the display away from flames.
