From paper to project
Check the light’s instructions and access to its battery compartment.
Cut a heart or star opening in a paper band.
Fit the band outside the jar without covering controls.
Tape only the exterior join.
Position the light as instructed and observe the silhouette.
Switch off and remove the light afterwards; store batteries out of children’s reach.
Check it with an example
An 8 cm-high band can leave the mouth of a 12 cm jar clear. Measure its actual circumference and add a 1 cm join.
If it does not turn out as expected
Do not put a flame inside this decoration or wrap a bulb in paper. Choose another support if the manufacturer does not permit the setup.
