From paper to project

  1. Measure the space where the garland will hang.

  2. Choose a rhythm, such as large-small-small.

  3. Draw the large circles first with room for cutting.

  4. Fit small circles only into gaps where they really fit.

  5. Tape each circle to the string from behind.

  6. Hang with slack and check that it does not cross a walking route.

Check it with an example

For 1.5 m, try five groups of 9 + 6 + 6 cm, then account for gaps and ends. Lay it out on a table before cutting the final string.

If it does not turn out as expected

Use two separated tape points if the circles rotate. Do not hang them at face height in a passage.
